Isabel Guillamón Gómez (Murcia, 1981) is a postdoctoral researcher at the Condensed Matter Physics Department of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
PROJECT
The aim of this project is the design and construction of a scanning-tunnel microscope (STM) capable of operating under higher magnetic fields that can be obtained at present, in order to overcome the main technical difficulties which have made it impossible so far to operate a scanning tunnel microscope under high magnetic fields. The use of higher magnetic fields has been limited so far to macroscopic studies.
